Whether passing through for a day or staying for a week, these are some of the best things to do in Glasgow!

Visit a world-class museum
Glasgow is home to some truly remarkable museums. See an original Dali in Kelvingrove museum in the West End, or view incredible medieval tapestries at the beautifully housed Burrell Collection in Pollock Park. From the ever-changing Gallery of Modern Art right in the heart of the city centre, to the Hunterian Museum nestled within the University of Glasgow. There’s something to amaze everyone!

Play an amazing Escape Room
Nomad Escape is the newest and most exciting addition to an already incredible escape room scene. Our Escape rooms in Glasgow are built by award-winning designers and are the only escape room in Glasgow to offer live actor immersion. So you can’t get any more unique in terms of things to do in Glasgow!

Enjoy some green spaces
With over 100 parks, Glasgow is a leading city for green spaces and is known as the “dear green place”. Some of our favourites include the Botanical Gardens, Glasgow Green, Kelvingrove Park, and Alexandra Park.
---
Enjoy the food scene
Glasgow is very much a city for foodies, with a constantly changing food scene. Some incredible restaurants can be found inside Merchant Square, but local favourites are Maki and Ramen, Chakoo, and Ka Pao. Michelin star restaurants can be found all over Glasgow, like Cail Bruich, Celantos, and Ubiquitous Chip.

Browse one of the best high streets in the UK
Buchanan Street is one of the busiest high streets in the country, and connects the city’s two largest shopping malls. At the bottom, you have St. Enoch Centre, and at the top, you have Buchanan Galleries.
---
Visit the cathedral and the Necropolis
The cathedral is one of Glasgow’s oldest and most beautiful buildings. Up until early afternoon, you can visit the tomb of St. Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow, located in the catacombs. Outside, cross the wailing bridge into the necropolis and admire the splendour of graves from some of Glasgow’s most prominent figures of its past.

Sample a fine whiskey in a pub
Like the food scene, Glasgow has a really diverse range of drinking holes to cater to every need. Step into a fantasy novel at “Waxy O'Connor's”, feel secluded in “Tabac” or feel the weight of history in Glasgow’s oldest pub, “The Scotia”.
