Hey team! Richard here, one of the founders of Nomad Escape. Most people don't really think about the people behind escape rooms, but if you clicked on "about us" then you must be at least a little bit curious!

Myself and Fran have been together as long as we have worked in the escape room industry. After a decade of designing, building, and running games for other companies, we started our own escape room and were in the process of converting an old NHS ambulance into a mobile escape room (hence the "Nomad") when we got the chance to take on a brick-and-mortar business. With the help of our friends and family, we were able to harness all our chaotic creativity and Nomad Escape got a permanent home!

Glasgow has an incredible escape room scene, so we knew that we had to do something unique to stand out. What is the one thing players in Glasgow couldn't experience? Live Actor immersion. So we had to figure out the best way to make that happen.

Because we've played escape rooms all over the world, we wanted to build games that we would enjoy playing! And it turns out, other people enjoy playing them too! Only a year into our journey and we had been ranked as one of the top 300 escape rooms in the world!
